Sixty Second Lesson – Lesson #13

G'day.

Troy Dean, Director of Geeky Stuff and welcome to 60 second lesson.

Lesson number 13: the strong call to action.

Any piece of content that you produce, which is designed to attract clients to you, you need to include a strong call to action. That call to action might be a phone number that they need to call to get some more information or to book an appointment. It might be a form that they can use to submit an inquiry for an appointment or a call back. It might be a form where they put their email address in to subscribe to your newsletter.

If you don't include a call to action, they won't know what to do. It's like walking into a clothing boutique, trying on a jacket, falling in love with it, and then realizing that there's no checkout. There's no one working there. There is nothing for me to actually do next. I'm confused, so I leave.

Include a strong call to action and actually tell your reader or viewer what you want them to do. End of lesson.

Consider yourself taught.
