A few months ago I had the good fortune to talk with two of my heroes. One you may be familiar with, the other you've most likely never heard of.
Seth Godin is a best selling author, marketer, blogger and all round inspiration to millions of raving fans worldwide. He is also very hard to get hold of, as you can imagine.
Kristina Romero is a member of our business accelerator program for WordPress consultants, stay at home Mum and action taker – and at the time of recording this conversation was about to give birth to her third child.
I introduced them to each other on my podcast and asked Seth to help Kristina think through how to continue to grow her business while managing her parenting duties and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
He gave such good advice.

Thank you. Remarkable. But you already knew that.
After being bombarded with the ‘marketing path” for a long time, it was so refreshing to hear that digital products are hard to sell and that Facebook ads aren’t a good way of getting new customers.
Superb podcast. Thank you for pushing the envelope with the format, Troy. Much food for thought. The insight on specialisation is, I think, the master key to playing a much bigger game. This has been a big help in rethinking approaches with WP.
